Temporary Information:
If you are a current permanent DCMA Employee employed at a lower GS grade:
You will be considered for a Temporary Promotion opportunity. A temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years. A temporary promotion may be made permanent without further competition. If you are a current permanent DCMA Employee employed at a the same GS grade or higher:
You will be considered for a Detail opportunity. A detail may be made and/or extended in 120 day increments. A detail may be made permanent without further competition. Non-DCMA Permanent Employee Applicants:
You will be considered for a Term Position Not to Exceed 13 months, your appointment may be extended up to a maximum of 8 years. This position may be made permanent without further competition to those candidates that have non-competitive status. Position is obligated. Who May Apply:

Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the education requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience required:
To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized Experience required:
To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-11. Specialized experience is defined as experience coordinating and evaluating plans, designs, and tasks for a variety of products/programs. Experience with computer software and program automation to track and report data requirements and metrics. Experience with computer formulas to produce charts and data tables. Experience conducting presentations to executive level groups. Education cannot be substituted for experience. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Applicants must meet basic eligibility requirements such as minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
