Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience and/or education requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience for the GS-09 level:
To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-07). Specialized experience is defined as:
experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems in any of the areas of personnel, security, and process improvement; knowledge of the theories and principles of management and organization, administrative practices and procedures involving personnel, security, and process improvement; and the interpretation of procedures, policies, and regulations, and providing compliance requirements to the mission support office for review. Specialized experience for the GS-11 level:
To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-09). Specialized experience is defined as:
experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems in the areas of personnel, security, and process improvement; knowledge of the theories and principles of management and organization, administrative practices and procedures involving personnel, security, and process improvement; experience interpreting procedures, policies, and regulations, and providing impact to process and overall impact to mission accomplishment/success:
ability to draft, articulate and fix corrective action plans based on regulatory compliance requirements and experience applying complex fact-finding, analytical and problem solving methods and techniques to identify downward trends and/or interrelated problems and recommend appropriate actions or solutions to improve productivity and performance. Education can be substituted for experience. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent Applicants must meet basic eligibility requirements such as minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
