The successful candidate will provide human resources functional leadership and manage all human resources activities including the development and oversight of programs and initiatives in the areas of recruiting, compensation, benefits, staffing, leadership & employee development, performance management, and employee relations. Emphasis will be on aligning human resources initiatives with business objectives and promoting a high performance environment. The position will also supervise, develop, and coach other human resources representatives in the organization.
Specific responsibilities include:
Advise and counsel senior leaders and managers to optimize employee engagement, team development, and organization effectiveness.
Work in partnership with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs that support business goals and drive results.
Responsible for effective execution of all Human Resources processes, including the Leadership Development Review, Performance Management, salary planning, etc.
Ensure proper staffing level, infuse talent into the organization and improve bench strength.
Counsel employees on performance, career planning, work/life balance and other topics.
Objectively assess and bring to resolution employee relations issues.
Consult with clients to understand training and development needs, and advise accordingly.
Advise managers on compensation-related decisions to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
Counsel managers through challenging performance management situations. Support managers in developing and communicating plans to address areas of improvement.
Assist and coach managers regarding employee relations, interviewing and selection, performance management and employee development.
Provide strategic counsel regarding employee engagement trends/data to employee engagement survey teams and organizational leaders.
Additional leadership responsibilities for talent and diversity initiatives within Commercial Engines & Aftermarket organization including campus recruitment strategy/execution, rotation program proposal development/execution, enhancements to talent councils.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree or MS degree in HR, Business Administration or a relevant degree.
6-10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in HR.
Ability and demonstrated skills leading change through organization in HR roles.
Experience in managing conflict and diffusing difficult situations.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal skills
Project Management skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detailEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
