As a Senior Safety Specialist, successful candidate will be an integral part of the Global EH&S team that will support our strategy of risk management, active caring and total case management to achieve zero injuries and illnesses.
This position is a senior lead role responsible for deployment and management of key Pratt-wide safety programs to global operations. Individual will also be responsible for supporting compliance and assurance reviews.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provide leadership, training and technical expertise in support of safety programs throughout P&W global operations;
- Assist facilities with the assessment of hazards and the development of injury prevention programs;
- Lead the development and implementation of global procedures, training materials, audit protocols for all areas of safety management. Expertise for the following specific program areas are desired: machine guarding, electrical safety, confined space, contractor safety management, control of hazardous energy (LOTO), fire protection, process safety management, compressed gas, incident investigation and behavior based safety.
- Conduct legislative reviews for safety regulatory changes and in the implementation of new regulatory requirements
- Maintain company level procedures after review with stake-holders at the corporate and business unit level.
- Deliver effective training in both the classroom and web conference environments.
- Perform Compliance and Assurance Review Audits of facilities globally.
- Assist facilities with the assessment of hazards and the development of controls to prevent injuries.
- Lead & provide support to all Global facilities for the UTC injury reduction goals.
- Travel globally to support customers.
- Continuous improvement skills such as lean, six sigma or UTC is ACE is a plus.
25-30% Travel required.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in safety or related discipline required.
Masters of Occupational Safety & Health Management and designation as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) would be a plus. 6-10
years safety experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
