Provide leadership and direction to the Commercial Engines Warranty group. This position entails full involvement in the business / contracts management of all warranty administration matters.
The Warranty manager has the following
Responsibilities:
- Directing warranty analysts responsible for administering all warranty programs including Service Policy, Guarantee Plans, Special Support and Industry Support Programs.
- Providing guidance and support to Product Line Management, Finance, Contracts / Legal, Engineering, Customer Service and Sales regarding all warranty related matters.
- Performing analyses and providing recommendations during new engine business and aftermarket campaigns regarding warranty administration and policies.
- Managing, developing and analyzing warranty issues across all engine models (PW legacy engines, GP7000, V2500 and GTF engines) and evaluating the economic impact of pending technical issues driving warranty exposure.
- Coordinating development of non-contractual warranty programs
- Effectively controlling budgeting, tracking and reporting for all warranty program matters including diligent expense control and cash management.
- Leading the integration of IAE and PW Commercial Engines Warranty organizations.
- Ensuring systems, resources and budgets are in place to support GTF warranty claims.
- Creating the strategic roadmap and aligning processes necessary to leverage warrantee to create business value as we begin new GTF engine introductions
BA/BS degree with 10
years / Preferred MA/MS/MBA degree Candidate must possess strong financial knowledge, business analysis, contract management and interpersonal skills. Technical familiarity with commercial engines is a plus.
