Assistant Counsel, International Trade Compliance
The candidate will participate in audits, internal investigations and the development of resulting corrective actions associated with export compliance enhancement activities and will work with the audit/investigations team in identifying compliance enhancement opportunities and preparing, designing and implementing corrective actions and risk mitigation strategies. Will be providing strategic development of company-wide compliance policies and programs. This includes developing and periodically reviewing and updating compliance policies to ensure continuing currency and relevance. Assist in the preparation of factual summaries and whitepapers and will cooperate with team members and various business units to resolve compliance matters, preparing where necessary, needed USG filings. Enhancing the international trade compliance program by driving the implementation of key global policies and procedures, communication strategies, employee training and key compliance-related controls. Taking a project leadership role in compliance enhancement initiatives by collaborating with other departments (Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain, etc.) and leading cross-functional teams.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
