Pratt & Whitney's Hot Section Module Center is looking for a Robotic Programmer who is familiar with FANUC robotic systems, particularly, applications including: integrated vision systems, programming a logic controller, and using ROBOGUIDE and DELMIA simulation software. Skills of particular interest are, Advanced Teach Pendant Programming, and KAREL Operation & Advanced Language Programming.
The candidate will work concurrently with Manufacturing Engineers, Design Engineers and Product Analysts as part designs are being developed and finalized. During process development the Robotic-Programmer's will work collaboratively with Robotic System Operators and Manufacturing Engineers to test the programs and convert them into production. Robotic Programmers must understand the fundamentals of collecting process variable data for statistical data analysis, and correlating program performance with inspection results.
The product definition platform of choice is NX, from which we are looking for a robotic programmer with skills in NX Basics (Gateway), and NX Modeling. A Robotic-Programmer is expected to develop and maintain Robotic-programs that are based on 3D NX part models. Robotic simulation is a preferred skill that we need to virtually define, plan, create, monitor and control coating processes.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
Relevant Programming training - NX (Unigraphics) Basics
Modeling
Knowledge about FANUC (710-I
2000) robots, their axes of motion and miscellaneous and preparatory functions.
KAREL, FANUC Robot Programming Language
Verification software tools such as:
IGRIP, Delmia Robotic Simulation Software
WINOLPC, FANUC Complier Software
OLPCPRO, FANUC Complier/Simulation Software
Statistical Process Control (Green Belt)
Concepts and application of Closed Loop Manufacturing (CLM) methods.
Manufacturing Process experience in Metals Machining and/or Plasma Spray Coating.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
