Pratt & Whitney's Customer Training organization has an opportunity for a full time summer intern to perform a variety of accounting and business duties to develop their skills in a world-class corporate setting. The Customer Training organization manages Pratt & Whitney technical aerospace training for all customers and employees throughout the world.
As our new INROADS intern, you will see all new and legacy aerospace engines housed in one historic start-of-the-art building where our customers meet for engine maintenance training. You will also:
Gain hands-on experience of business operations that include accounting and procurement systems.
Learn about training management systems and processes on a global scale.
Manage marketing materials and products.
Improve your understanding of quality systems and their vital importance to our customers and employees.
INROADS Internship Background
Internships are for students who prefer shorter work periods, usually three months during the summer. A formal agreement is not required with the school. The company's goal is to relate employment opportunities to the student's academic majors to ensure maximum productivity for all parties involved. The goal of the Intern program is to enhance the student's academic training, professional growth, and personal development.
Pratt & Whitney Customer Training is seeking a student
Currently enrolled in a ? BA/BS or MA/MSdegree program either: General Business, Accounting, Finance, Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Basic Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in the INROADS program
3.0 minimum GPA
Completion of at least 30 credit hours
Must be a U.S. Citizen or have Permanent Resident status.
This is a Summer internship located in East Hartford, CT.
