ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST - LOOKING TO HIRE IMMEDIATELY
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST - LOOKING TO HIRE IMMEDIATELY to become an integral part of our team! You will compile data, compute charges, and prepare invoices.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Verify vendor invoices for receipt of goods or services, and review for accuracy - resolve discrepancies with vendor.
Possess knowledge and understanding of the general ledger to accurately post invoices Process parts receipt invoices - resolve discrepancies with branch locations Process vendor check disbursements to ensure payments are received within terms and utilizing vendor discounts when available Reconciliation and payment processing of month end parts statements Bank Account Reconciliations Process daily customer receipts by recording cash, checks and credit card transactions.
Prepare check deposits and cash deposits as required Review and maintain customer account application of transactions to ensure accurate AR aging reports Customer contact as needed for resolution of payment discrepancies Report delinquent accounts to branch managers and assist in customer contact for collections Responsible for the accurate and complete compilation and processing of Sales Contracts to ensure prompt funding Reporting of equipment sales to ensure timely and complete floor plan maintenance.
Assist in general office maintenance of supplies, copier maintenance and postage meter updates.
Participate in special projects as needed.
Skills/
Qualifications:
Minimum 5-years experience in a high volume environment (Experience in retail / dealerships a plus) Knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures Computer skills to include proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy Able to work independently Excellent interpersonal skills Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
Willingness to be a Team-player.
