Responsibilities:
Process paper applications for the Summer EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) project. Assist in facilitating the free school lunch program for children during the summer. Determine eligibility based on household size and income criteria. Review applications thoroughly, contacting applicants for additional information when necessary. Enter application data accurately into the system. Send out notifications to applicants regarding the status of their applications. Ensure minimal drop-off of applicants before they start, to avoid additional expenses such as background checks. Conduct video interviews with applicants. Obtain associate degree transcripts from applicants. Conduct drug tests; marijuana will not be tested for. Verify typing speed with a minimum requirement of 40 words per minute; screenshot of test results required. Obtain at least one reference from the applicant's previous position; ideally, two references should be provided. Requirements:
Associate degree required; transcripts must be provided. Experience with eligibility criteria and/or application processing preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with applicants to gather necessary information. Proficiency in computer applications and data entry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to undergo background and drug test (excluding marijuana).
