Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC) is hiring Security Guards and Event Staff for events throughout Connecticut within the Sports and Entertainment industry! Events include:
UCONN Athletics (XL Center, Gampel Pavilion, Rentschler Field) Storrs, CT, East Hartford, CT Yale Athletics (Payne Whitney, Ingalls Rink, Yale Bowl) New Haven, CT Hartford Athletic Professional Soccer (Dillon Stadium) Hartford, CT Concerts (XL Center) Hartford, CT The Event Staff/Security position provides general support for events including ticket taking, ushering, checking bags, and guest services.
Their role requires good judgment, flexibility, strong attention to Branch Manager, Event Staff Supervisor and Event Manager directives, strong observation skills and vigilance.
Commitment:
Part-time, flexible schedule
Responsibilities:
Manage queue lines to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow at a venue.
Greet guests as they enter and leave the event Support guests with way-finding through the facility Provide a safe and secure environment for guests, team officials, players, and other individuals associated with the event Report issues to your supervisor as you observe them Basic
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older Thrive in a fast-paced environment Have strong, clear communication skills Team player, quick thinker with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly Ability to stand for extended periods, sometimes throughout an entire event Apply today at:
