Summary:
Responsible for creating, developing and executing campaigns and programs that align with the annual marketing plan.
Flawless execution, nurturing strong and productive partnerships, and leading cross-functional initiatives is critical to achieving goals in this role.
Learns and embraces new technologies that can drive efficiency and productivity in our marketing programs, including expansion of personalized, automated messages to optimize member engagement.
Has expertise in traditional and digital marketing channels, and is focused on continual innovation and learning in the space to provide a great member experience.

You'll be asked to come into the East Hartford office for in-person engagement activities such as one-on-one meetings with your manager, team meetings, training, and culture events.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
General Marketing Functions Partners with AVP, Marketing, SVP, Marketing & Data Analytics, and business line managers to create budgets and annual marketing plans that support department and company goals.
Manages the development and execution of marketing plans and programs ensuring credit union growth goals are achieved.
Ability to execute and manage multiple programs/campaigns concurrently and excellent time management skills are critical to this role.
Accountable for cost benefit analysis reporting related to marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Meets and negotiates with vendors to acquire timely, cost-effective and high quality marketing support.
Assists with responses to marketing inquiries from credit union personnel.
Monitors and controls progress and expenditures ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of assigned projects.
Works with compliance to ensure marketing and advertising materials meet necessary guidelines.
Collaborates with AVP, Marketing on issues related to the effective use of marketing resources and provides input as needed.
Possesses strong communication skills, having the ability to write both on and offline materials for a variety of audiences.
Reviews and analyzes trade journals, articles and publications to keep apprised of the financial services marketplace and digital trends.
Recommends appropriate changes for implementation.
Flexes across the marketing team to support additional initiatives and programs as needed.
Promotional Campaign and Advertising Function Collaborates with AVP, Marketing and others to:
Ensure strategic alignment of the AEFCU brand in both the traditional and digital environments.
Create the most effective and cost-efficient campaigns and programs.
Place traditional and digital media making sure delivery of the messages is achieving optimal results.
Works with Digital Marketing Specialist to collaborate on placement and tracking of digital campaigns.
Meets and negotiates with vendors to develop media plans that align with campaign and/or program budgets, reach the necessary audience, are delivered in a timely fashion, and provide the necessary results within the predefined timeframe.
May also include development of new creative.
Sales Support Functions Writes and produces various internal and external publications and communications.
Assists and supports product and channel managers with their respective goals.
Recommends, designs, implements and provides on-going support for new products, new channels, and sales campaigns.
Works with Branch Administration and product management on ad-hoc and formal sales programs in branches and the Member Contact Center.
Attends work-related events as needed to represent Marketing.
Performs related duties and special requests as assigned.

Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or Communications from a four-year college or university and 7 to 10 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in marketing campaign/marketing program management and successfully leading teams.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
